Protection Campaign for Hasankeyf and the Amazon
Dam constructions in many parts of the world cause great massacres in nature and inflict irreversible damage. Unfortunately, very important cultural treasures submerged by dams also contain irreplaceable values. The campaign named "Democracy" has launched a protection campaign for Hasankeyf and the Amazon Forests, which face such situations. Hasankeyf, a great cultural treasure in our country, will be submerged due to the Ilısu Dam to be built. At the same time, the campaign being carried out for the Amazon Forests, considered the lungs of the world, seems to be a stage for a great struggle for nature. The campaign will draw attention to organizations that want to disrupt the world's ecological system for profit, and it also aims to create a "green economy".
